Yoon Seok Yoo was born in Korea and currently resides and works in New York City. Yoon designed and directed various projects commissioned by LG, Korean Institute of Design Promotion, ArtSonje Center, Studio Museum in Harlem, Princeton Architectural Press, Korean Ministry of Justice, and Yale School of Architecture.

Yoon received a BFA from Hongik University, Seoul and a MFA in graphic design from Yale School of Art, New Haven, Connecticut. He was awarded the Charles H. Sawyer Memorial Prize for excellence in graphic design from the Yale School of Art. His design work has been published in Output 05 and Palimpsest magazine, and his work has been exhibited at the San Francisco Center for the Book.
