This is a redrawn world map illustrating animal distribution geographically. I eliminated the familiar elements of organization: lines, text, colors, symbols of a map, and rearranged the information continent by continent using several animal illustrations from a zoology textbook. The traditional elements of a map are gone, and in their place, strange elements of mapping appear.
