I’ve Got You Under My Skin
Video, 2 minutes
A woman is depicted as an invisible figure, an outsider. In a series of contexts,
she is imported as an empty line drawing, and those who are around her do
not see her. Her figure forces juxtaposition with other scenes, resulting
in a tension due to lack of real entry into contexts. Her invisibility makes
her unknown in the contexts, however more visible to the audience, and the
dog. The video is set to I've Got You Under My Skin sung by Ella Fitzgerald.
*The idea and drawing of the invisible lady is borrowed from Julia Peirone’s
illustration book, Blind Smek Min Kind
